Grateful Bread (Lincoln)

1625 South 17th, Lincoln, NE 68502  MAP

Tex-Mex Chili

Quirky little mostly soup spot. Lots of vegan soups on the menu. On a recent outing, choices were Split Pea, Moroccan Tomato, Tex-Mex Chili and Creole Hoppin’ John. Saltines at the table are vegan, too. The line can be long, so be patient. Service is fast once you get to the counter.

One Review of Grateful Bread (Lincoln)

This place is amazing. No if’s and’s or butt’s! They have different stuff on the menu every day, but you can see what they are serving that day if you go to their facebook page. They don’t do any meat at all, every dish is either vegetarian or vegan, and they make a big pan of each item and when it’s all gone, they close for the day so don’t get there too late–but that just speaks to how awesome the food is, people don’t care that the menu isn’t the same everyday or that they close when they run out of food, and that could be at 2 in the afternoon, it’s so good, you’ll be back again and again, and you’ll get there early!
